As the president unit of Wenzhou UAV Security Management Association, our college stands as the only higher education institute in southern Zhejiang that opens the major of UAV Application Technology. Relying on its advantages of security technology, the college has carried out in-depth cooperation with a number of government and enterprise units, including MMC Tech, Joy & Try UAV Technology, Zhejiang Yufeng Aviation Technology, Feima Robotics, Ocean Aviation, Zhixiang Aviation. The UAV Application Technology aims to cultivate high-quality talents with knowledge and technical skills in UAV parts assembly, maintenance and repair, flight control, UAV design and development, and UAV industry application. At present, it possesses an on- campus UAV training base and an off-campus UAV training center, achieving a seamless connection between curriculum and posts, schools and enterprises, majors and industries. Meanwhile, for the enhancement of talent training quality, the UAV Application Technology has been advancing the training strategies of “famous enterprises + masters + intensive practice” which enables students to possess the advantages of qualifications, abilities and accomplishments. Besides, by encouraging students to obtain certificates, it promotes a school-enterprise cooperation in talents cultivation training featured by the integration among school-enterprise resources, faculty, curriculum, training and culture can be achieved.
