On the afternoon of March 13, Issakhov Assylbek, Rector of Kazakhstan International IT University, led a delegation to visit ZJCST to carry out in-depth exchanges and negotiations. Hu Weiguo, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of ZJCST, met with the delegation.

Hu Weiguo warmly welcomed the visit of President Issakhov Assylbek and his delegation, and systematically expounded the school-running practice of ZJCST to anchor the core development area of Central Asia to promote vocational education going overseas, take advantage of the situation to serve the national strategic development, and build a "community of destiny, responsibility and skills". In the face of digitalization, intelligence and globalization, ZJCST relies on the construction of "China-Kazakhstan Silk Road College" to comprehensively carry out school-school cooperation, school-enterprise cooperation and school-government cooperation to create a "Chinese + Vocational Skills" training platform. Hu Weiguo pointed out that the two universities are highly compatible in terms of school development trajectory, school-running philosophy and discipline construction, and looked forward to the continuous expansion and deepening of exchanges and cooperation between the two universities in the future, so as to contribute to the development of China-Kazakhstan relations.

President Issakhov Assylbek introduced the history of Kazakhstan International IT University and its strengths, which are among the leading universities in Kazakhstan. Issakhov Assylbek emphasized that the prospects for cooperation between the two sides are very broad, and he had in-depth and detailed discussions with representatives of the university in combination with the specific projects of the university, and the two sides reached a number of consensus on the establishment of a normalized exchange mechanism in the fields of artificial intelligence, intelligent equipment, drones and other fields, the promotion of mutual visits between teachers and students, the joint construction of online courses, and the strengthening of scientific research and cultural exchanges.

In November last year, the Vice Rector of the Kazakhstan International IT University, Dyussebayev Dauren, visited our university and signed a memorandum of cooperation with our university. This is the second visit by the university delegation, marking the beginning of the substantive operation stage of the cooperation between the two universities. In the future, the two universities will solidly promote the in-depth development of educational cooperation between the two universities through a multi-level, multi-mode and multi-angle cooperation model.
